ADAM B. RINGLE, CPP, MBA, EMT-T, NREMT-P​

Master Sergeant Adam B. Ringle is presently assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division and is the supervisor of the Forensic Services Unit of the Wilmington Department of Police in Wilmington, Delaware. Prior to this assignment, Sgt. Ringle supervised a patrol shift in the Uniformed Services Division since being promoted in 2006. He is an ASIS Board Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and has successfully completed the ASIS International Executive Protection (EP) Certification Program. He is an active member of ASIS International and is considered a subject matter expert on active shooter countermeasures, integration and response planning. Sgt. Ringle is a certified pilot and has extensive knowledge on the practical applications and implementation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) technology. He has conducted educational sessions at training conferences throughout the United States on many topics surrounding UAS programs, regulatory compliance and is considered one of the foremost authorities on the subject for both the public and private sector. Sgt. Ringle is a State of Delaware certified Police Master Instructor, Police Training Center Manager, and American Heart Association Regional Faculty Member, Sgt. Ringle trains state and local law enforcement officers, fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel, as well as private entities. Sgt. Ringle has served as a certified Hazardous Materials Technician in the State of Delaware, a United States Department of Energy MERTT instructor, and a Louisiana State University certified Homeland Security Instructor. Sgt. Ringle has conducted training for many Delaware agencies in terrorism response, counter-terrorism measures, hazardous materials, and incident management. Sgt. Ringle has served as an Emergency Medical Services instructor and Weapons of Mass Destruction instructor for the Delaware State Fire School and the United States Department of Homeland Security. Sgt. Ringle currently serves as the Medical Commander for Wilmington Police Special Operations and provides Paramedic support for Wilmington Police and other Delaware Police agencies. Sgt. Ringle also serves as the operations safety officer for the Wilmington Department of Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team and functions as a tactical paramedic responding on all high risk special operations entries and incidents.
